2026-2029 Successor Contract Campaign

2026-2029 Contract Campaign

The TTA Negotiations Team and Leadership will be making site visits and conducting surveys based upon the items brought up during those visits to create the Association’s initial proposal for the renewal of the entire contract, which expires June 30, 2026. These visits and surveys will provide Leadership and the Negotiations Team with direction and bargaining priorities. Any identified priorities not completed or covered during the 2026-2029 campaign will be introduced or reintroduced during following reopener campaigns.

2025-2026 Contract Reopeners Campaign
Contract reopeners allow for TTA and TUSD to open up to two articles each and bring an item of mutual interest to the table. All items for negotiation must be shared in a public forum with adequate time allowed for public comment. This process is called “sunshining.” TTA sunshined our initial proposal for the 25-26 reopener campaign at the July 7th Board of Education meeting. TUSD has indicated that they will sunshine in September. That means that negotiations will start sometime in mid-October.
