After several pleas from TTA leadership to delay any reopening, TUSD has committed to move forward on reopening schools starting with TK and Kindergarten on December 7th, and first grade on January 4th . This comes as a shock to many as the number of COVID cases rise across the county, state, and nation. The message was clear at the November 9th school board meeting, the risk to students, staff, and families was worth the reward of having even some of our students back in school.
