Special School Board Meeting to Debate a Schedule Change Ends in “Status Quo” Vote

~ Marathon 1 Topic, 5 Hour Meeting Brings Out Record Stakeholder Speakers

In a marathon Special School Board meeting to debate and possibly change the current hybrid schedule for the 20-21 school year, the TUSD school board came to a 3 to 2 consensus (no vote) to maintain the status quo hybrid model for TK-12 for the remainder of this school year. Just days after Superintendent Dr. Stowe announced that the current hybrid model is working effectively given our current circumstances, and recommended we stick to the plan until June, the school board scheduled a special meeting to debate these very facts and his recommendation.
